I just wanted to say that a friend of mine
said that not only did Hamilton sign the 200 autographs he
was supposed to sign, but one for everyone who wanted one.
What a class act. I’m not mad at Hamilton or they players and
coaches, because they went above and beyond what they are
supposed to do. I’m mad at the Rangers guy (who didn’t even
appear to be working with the Rangers, he looked more
carney-esque). Josh just reaffirms what a great guy he is
tonight.

JD reported yesterday that Josh Hamilton reported to spring training January 5th, nearly two months before he is required to be there. Hamilton’s numbers dropped off significantly in July and August last year due to a combination of fatigue and over marketing. JD said that he rarely got any time to himself because of all the media hype surrounding him, and with it being his first full major league season it took a toll on him. This year aims to be different. JD also said that Hamilton is in amazing shape right now, leaving me to wonder how good of a year this guy is going to have?
